1)    Only register members are allowed to use the library. Members should always carry their membership cards and student ID card while using the library.

2)      Honours students can borrow three library books for home and general students can issue two books at a time from the library.

3)      Reference books, special collection, Map, Atlas, journal and magazines are not issued at all.

4)     Books should be returned within a fortnight (15 days) from the date of issue. Please refer to the due date stamp given on the date label of the borrowed books.

5)     A library fine is to be paid ‘if’ the library book/s is kept beyond 15 days (Fifteen days). After that Library fine will be charged @1/- per day.

6)    There are Two Types of cards – Lending card -for home issue and Reading card is for reading room access.

7)     Library Cards are not transferable. One student cannot use the other student’s library card.

8)     A fine of Rs.50/- will be charged for each card if damaged or lost.

9)     Books marked as “Reading only” can neither be issued for home nor be taken outside the library.

10) Students can get the necessary parts of a library materials (upto 15 pages at a time) photocopied at the library 1 rupees per page basis.

11) If any book is damaged / lost, the same will be replaced by the memberships concerned.

12)  ‘Silence’ and ‘Discipline’ must be maintained in the library.  Gossiping, loud telephonic conversation, eating, sleeping are not allowed inside the library.
