‘Basic Mathematics Course For Competitive Exam(Add-On)’

সুন্দরবন হাজী দেশারত কলেজের ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের জানানো যাচ্ছে যে, কলেজের ছাছাত্রীদের জন্য  ‘Basic Mathematics Course For Competitive Exam(Add-On)’  চালু হচ্ছে।  যারা এই কোর্সটি করতে চাইছো তারা আজ (১২/০৫/২৩) অর্থাৎ শুক্রবার বিকাল ৩ টায়, কলেজের সায়েন্স বিল্ডিং-এ ম্যাথমেটিকস ডিপার্টমেন্টে চলে আসবে।এই কোর্সটি করলে দেশের এবং রাজ্যের বিভিন্ন চাকরির এবং প্রতিযোগিতামূলক পরীক্ষার জন্য প্রস্তুতি নেওয়া যাবে।    বিস্তারিত জানার জন্য 8436206216 এই নম্বরে ফোন করে নেবে।  এই কোর্সটি প্রাক্তন ছাত্রছাত্রীরাও করতে পারবে। যারা এই কোর্সটি  করতে চাইছো তারা নিচের গুগুল লিঙ্কে গিয়ে নাম রেজিস্ট্রেশান করাও।

Facilities

The major strength of the Department of Mathematics is the quality and experienced faculty. Beyond the class hour, extra classes and classes for competitive exam are also conducted by the faculty members. Students can complete Mathematics Honours from this college with relatively affordable expenditure. Sufficient books are available in the library and provided for the students. More resources are available to science students at the library. The department of mathematics has it’s own library. Department of Mathematics is also engaged with various Social responsibilities work.  One Add-On course is being run by the Department of mathematics.  Computer lab is also being supported by The Department of mathematics.  So students from these regions can easily study Mathematics Honors by staying at home or using the campus hostel amenities.

Departmental Social Responsibility (DSR):

1. Visited local schools to promote science awareness for higher studies among the students. 
2. School visits were conducted to promote the admission of science students in the college
3. Dept of Mathematics support and help local school students for Basic computer training in the college computer lab. 
4. Local schools students were taught basic mathematics and general intelligence skills to inspire them in education.   
5. Department of Mathematics actively participated and supported in “Krishi Mela (Agricultural produce Display)” organized by “Sundarban Research Society” : 16 & 17, march, 2022
6. The Department of Mathematics has taken steps to encourage local school students to study science for their future education. Local guardians were also motivated and inspired.   
7. There are extremely few science departments in the high secondary schools close to SHD college.  The department of mathematics has taken the initiative, together with other science faculty members, to encourage the school administration to establish science departments in their institutions.
