About Department
According to the curriculum of Bengali language and literature at the University of Calcutta, there is an opportunity to study Bengali for four years in the undergraduate / undergraduate with research program and for three years in the M.D.C course at 'Sundarban Hazi Desarat College'. Currently, under the Credit Based Choice System (CBCS), successful students who undergo rigorous course work over a total of 8/6 semesters can seek their own place in higher education, employment, or other expanding areas of life in the future. Ensuring education, research, and quality assurance is another primary objective of the Bengali department at 'Sundarban Hazi Desarat College'. Alongside continuous extensive intellectual discourse, language discussions, and literary debates, the department emphasizes fostering intellectual and artistic development among its students to enrich their inherent human values.
